Ladies Aid & Quilting
The Ladies Aid was formed on August 12, 1926 and until 1936 was first known as the Ladies’ Aid and
Missionary Society. They have a rich history of mission, and provide for the upkeep and utilities of our
parsonage and other areas of need within the church. Quilting and other handwork along with the Ice
Cream Social, Bazaar, and Silent Auction are the principle sources of income for the Aid.
We invite and encourage you to bring a friend to join us on any Tuesday between 8 am and 3 pm. We
have been quilting with fellow Christians from the Methodist, Catholic, and Lutheran Churches in the
area. We take an hour off at noon for lunch so bring a sack lunch and enjoy the conversation.
Sometimes during lunch we have a short quilting story that someone reads and we have short prayers
where we ask the Lord to be with fellow members and friends during illnesses and deaths.
You are always welcome and we will be there to teach you and make you feel comfortable If you have
any questions please feel free to contact Laura Grebner, Dee Hillman, or Jeannine Steinke. We are
looking forward to seeing you on any given Tuesday.
